Modern Black Kitchen in Harlow
This modern kitchen project located in Harlow features a stunning contemporary design. The whole space has a striking all-black colour scheme — from the walls to the worktops and chairs.
We used cabinetry from Nobilia's handleless Touch range, which has a sleek matt finish and a push-to-open option. We installed a floor-to-ceiling wall unit that houses the integrated appliances and provides tons of storage space — something always important in a kitchen.
Not only does this kitchen look good, but it's also super functional. The G-shape layout is perfect for entertaining, providing plenty of countertop space for food preparation. We added a peninsula with black bar stools for casual dining.
The worktops are also black and have a similar finish as the cabinetry — it was a conscious decision to make the kitchen look and feel cohesive. We added some glass shelves and ensured plenty of lighting to compensate for the dark colour scheme.
